Lady yelled at me in Chinese after I accidentally knocked down the Buddha that's holding change. Eggrolls are yummy yummy.

Food is good. We usually get their combination plates which are big enough to share (we add an extra egg roll, which are delicious).Great value

The quality and portion is enough to justify the price.The rice is loose and fragrant, not clumpy like other restaurants. The guy ding in the combination is a very good portion, with almost half of it being chicken. Other restaurants give you 2 or 3 pieces in the combo at best.Chicken balls are large chunks of chicken with the perfect amount of breading. Great stuff. Will come again for lunch.

I've been coming here for years, it is the best place to go for Chinese food in barrhaven by far.

Clean establishment, food taste not that great, ordered spicy chicken, but it was bland, takeout packaging leaked. I may try again if I am feeling extremely hungry and do not have any other option.

Pricey compared to other nearby Chinese places. For example the combination plates are 12.30 versus 9.75 at the place down the street. Food quality is pretty decent but not spectacular. Portion sizes are okay. It's within walking distance from my house so I will likely go back.

I have lunch here sometimes good deal and ok Chinese food lots of Chinese around here.

Felt at home as soon as I walked into the restaurant. We bought two bowls of fried rice for 3 people and it was sufficient, BIG PORTIONS AT CHINA STAR. Oh also we bought some General Tao Chicken and there was alot , WITH A FREE BOWL OF RICE. Lady who owns the restaurant was very nice and was willing to help us with our order (for those people who said the lady yelled probably cause you did something wrong 😂). Anyways overall I would like to say gr8 food gr8 people.

Very good prices

I just moved to Barrhaven recently and decided to order from this Chinese restaurant after it was recommended by a friend. I was pleased by the outcome! The service was good, the people were friendly and the food quality was great. I especially liked the Lemon Soo Guy. Definitely will be going back.

The food was good, especially given the price. Many Chinese food restaurants in Ottawa are either overpriced or not very tasty. This place had good food and good prices, and it tasted fresh.We'd ordered the beef with soft egg noodles, kung pao chicken, steamed rice and open-ended egg rolls for around $30 (taxes included). This was *way* more than enough for two people. We'll be having leftovers tomorrow. And for what it's worth, I thought the service was friendly.

best chinese food in barrhaven!

One of the better pick-up Chinese joint in Barrhaven. The price may not be the cheapest but the portion is quite big. And the food is tasty for the most part.

The food is great, but don't bother asking for delivery! Even if you live 5 minutes away, it'll take them an hour + to get your food to you.

Very consistent. Large portions and best dinner combinations around. Pick up is best, delivery is too long but quality makes up for it still 5 star.

Food is not very good quality but it's fast to order.

I like their food. The prices are good. Ive ordered from here on multiple occassions. Last time I ordered, it took a good hour before I got food. On top of that, the delivery driver was so rude! She was giving me attitude over the phone (dont have a bizzer, so you have to call my cell). Told her I was at the front door of my condo and she said she was the back. She kept giving me attitude because she didnt want to walk to the front door of building and you dont say "oh my gosh" to a customer over the phone, just because youre being lazy. When I called to make the complaint about the driver being rude to me, they didnt really say anything. I am disappointed in this unfortunate experience. If it wasnt for rude customer seevice, Id give it higher star rating.

All the food tastes great, and the person at the register was friendly
